GERIATRIC DENTAL CAMP

On 7th Apr. 99 one week long Free Geriatric Dental Camp was inaugurated at Mahavir Dental Center. This was in collaboration with SCOPE. This exclusive camp for old age patients was conducted under the supervision of Dr.Chandrakanth Rao. Twenty other doctors assisted him in this activity.

More than 900 patients were treated for different kinds of dental problems. Out of them 430 patients received ultrasonic scaling treatment, 15 of them were given free artificial partial dentures and all others received various other dental treatments. The patients were also counseled about the harmful effects of different forms of tobacco consumption.
